We here at NHC Anderson realize how precious your loved one is to you, how you desire the best for them, the best in care, the best in environment and the best in day to day living. Stepping through the doors of NHC Anderson, you will find brightly lit and beautifully furnished sitting rooms for visiting family and friends. You will be greeted warmly by our receptionist and front office staff and escorted to your destination with a smile. All of our patient rooms are spacious and well appointed with cable television, telephone access, semi private bathroom facilities and the comforts of home. Currently re-modeled, most of our rooms have a warm hardwood floor laminate.

Each floor has its own day room that is utilized for NHC Anderson's dining program. Our patients can choose to dine "restaurant style," socializing with friends and family, being cheerfully served by our NHC Partners. The day room is also used for daily group activities, led by our enthusiastic Activities Department who offer a variety of programs every day. Arts, crafts, bingo, exercise classes, musical groups, pet therapy, indoor and outdoor gardening, holiday and birthday parties, and current events: these are just a sampling of the group activities that fill NHC Anderson's calendar. You'll also find many seasonal outings: going to catch a baseball game, heading to the mall, riding out to see holiday lights, we keep our patients on the move! Our Activity staff also works to bring our patients individual activities as well. From the bookmobile to letter writing to newspaper circulation, every one of our patients has an opportunity to do what he or she loves best.

NHC Anderson also offers all of the conveniences of a community. We have an in-house beauty and barber shop, a nail technician who will visit our patients, giving personalized manicures, laundry service that will lovingly care for our patients clothes, a maintenance department that responds immediately to any maintenance need, housekeeping services that keep the building and rooms sparkling, a public dining room and several conference rooms that families and friends can reserve for having lunch with or throwing a special party for their loved one. You will find our courtyards and outside areas are perfect for strolling.

The physical and social attributes of NHC Anderson are award winning. The excellence you see visibly is mirrored in the hearts and attitudes of our very own staff. We take pride in the fact that most of our patients consider our staff to be a part of the extended family. Patients are number one at NHC Anderson, and it shows. We work with each of our patients and their families to establish an individualized plan of care and treatment that addresses each discipline: nursing, therapy, dietary, activities and social services.
